Bio
When I was a kid, Mom used to play her piano and it rang through the house. I was always in awe of the sounds. She taught me to play a few notes and after that I was hooked. In the mid 70s, my father used to take me to blues festivals in the depths of Topanga Canyon, and we saw jazz folks at spot called My Place in Santa Monica. All the greats would come to share their music. Again I was in awe.
At 14, my brother gave me my first guitar and that was it - I never stopped. Through the years I developed a fondness for rock, country, folk, and all that - the influences were and are vast.
At the age of 36, I formed a band and after 20 epic years of performing in that cover band (same group of guys), I discovered songwriting workshops. That opened up a whole other world for me.
Today I write songs, play them, and sing them. I guess I'm a singer songwriter these days. Never in my life would I have imagined this - but in my dreams I did. And I dream a lot!
It's been an amazing journey through my past and into emotional healing and growth. I want to thank you for visiting my website and listening to my music. I will only promise honesty and vulnerability.
More to come
